Our Services Hydrotherapy is a non weight bearing exercise utilising the therapeutic properties of warm water. Your pet will be fitted with a buoyancy aid and will have a qualified hydrotherapist in the water with them at all times. This enables us to closely monitor and assess their needs and provide hands on treatment.
We understand the importance of working closely with Veterinary Surgeons and other members of the Multi-disciplinary team to devise a suitable and effective rehabilitation programme for your dog, enabling them to lead a happy and fulfilling life. We also offer fitness and conditioning programmes for working breeds.
To provide treatment we are required by law to have consent from your Veterinary Surgeon. This allows us to ensure we have the full details of your dogs condition and that it is appropriate for them to receive hydrotherapy treatment.
At Holmelea we will give your pet a full assessment during an initial consultation where we will develop a treatment programme to suit their individual needs.
